Devalgarh
Situated at a distance of 19 km from the main town of Srinagar via Chamdhar, Devalgarh was established by the King of Kangra named Deval.
The Laxmi Narayan temple, Gauri Devi temple and Rajeshwari temple are the main attractions here. Inscriptions on the stones of the temples make them important from the archaeological point of view.

Perched at a height of 4,000 meters, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Rajeshwari which is the local deity of the Garhwal kings. A fair is held every year in the month of April. Gaura Devi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and is believed be built in the 7th century AD and is considered to as old as Kedarnath and Badrinath.
